Design Research – Graphic Reading – Horizonte

With the visualization method "Graphic Reading" developed by Emphase, text (and image) is visually analyzed. In this example, the visual analysis is used to compare PowerPoint slides in terms of their text (blue) or image (red) components and to visualize not only qualitative information but also patterns and rules. In contrast to the detailed reading of texts (Close Reading), text is visually coded and viewed from a certain distance using an investigative approach (Distant Reading).
