Annual Report of the Foundation Swiss Hotel Archives – So that knowledge is not lost.
The design concept adopts visual codes of archiving and shows hotel archives in front of and under the backdrop with impressive pictures.
Hotelarchiv Schweiz aims to preserve as well as disseminate knowledge about the history of the Swiss hotel industry. The Swiss Hotel Archives foundation was founded 12 years ago to systematically collect historical documents (written documents, plans, picture and sound sources) in the tourist country of Switzerland and to network them in a database and make them accessible. The report tells the story of the foundation, explains documentation profiles, lets us look in front of and behind the scenes of renowned Palace Hotels with relevant examples and reports on the future of archives in the digital age.
