Infographic – Congo Hold-up

Infographic produced for Public Eye as part of the Congo Hold-up investigation, the largest data leak on the African continent. This investigation is a collaboration with a consortium of media and investigative NGOs. Using data from financial transactions between a Congolese bank and a Swiss-based bank, the infographic visualizes the closed-circuit links of various companies belonging to the Ovlas Trading Group. The arrangement allows cash to be taken out of the Congo.
